About Us
Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, improving lives, raising awareness and providing support and information you can trust.
What we do
Epilepsy is a serious neurological condition characterised by recurrent seizures that begin in the brain. Epilepsy Action’s vision is to create a world without limits for people with epilepsy. We strive to improve the lives of people with epilepsy and create a positive public attitude towards the condition. Epilepsy says stop. We say go. For more information, visit: www.epilepsy.org.uk
What is an Epilepsy Action Tribute?
An Epilepsy Action Tribute is a special space where you, family and friends can remember your loved one and celebrate their life.
You can share stories, memories, photos and music. Birthdays and anniversaries can be marked and you can also raise vital funds in the memory of your loved one.
You can help bring us closer to creating a world without limits for people with epilepsy.
Why create an Epilepsy Action Tribute?
· It’s a place to bring family and friends together to remember your loved ones, helping one another through your loss.
· It’s an amazing way to raise funds in your loved one’s memory and supporting people with epilepsy.
· It’s free and easy to set up and will stay online for as long as you want it to.
How do I set up an Epilepsy Action Tribute?
Setting up a Tribute only takes a few steps and is free. You can visit epilepsy.muchloved.org, click “Create a Tribute” and follow the steps.
Funeral collections
You can use an Epilepsy Action Tribute to collect donations at their funeral. You can also add a link to the page to the order or service.
We also have funeral collection envelopes so you can simply and safely collect cash or cheque donations on the day of their service. The envelopes include a gift aid declaration and are free to return, making it easy to post back to us. Requesting them is free of charge and you can order as many as you need here.
If you have questions, please email hchaggar@epilepsy.org.uk or call 0113 2108832.
We are here to help in any way we can, from helping set up your Tribute to supporting you with any related queries. We want you to know that you are not alone.
